Get Ready to Rock and Roll with and Insider Mick Rock Exhibit
W New York - Downtown rocks Lower Manhattan with an installation of iconic and never-before exhibited images by legendary music photographer, Mick Rock. Since 2008, Rock has been capturing both intimate behind the scenes portraits and on-stage theatrics at W's live music series, Symmetry Live, a series offering W guests insider access to who's new and next in music. These images - which include shots of past Symmetry Live performer such as Cee Lo Green, Janelle Monae, Neon Trees, Ellie Goulding and Theophilus London - will make their debut along with Rock's iconic images of David Bowie, Debbie Harry and Iggy Pop. In addition, the exhibit will include candid images of some of music's most acclaimed talent, including Bono, Lady Gaga and more.
From December 8 - December 29 you are invited to The W Downtown to experience the iconic photography of Mick Rock. Often referred to as ‘The Man Who Shot the Seventies,' Mick Rock is a British photographer best known for his iconic shots of music legends such as David Bowie, Madonna, Queen, The Sex Pistols, Debbie Harry, Iggy Pop, Snoop Dogg, Alicia Keys, Daft Punk, and many more.
